To connect your OpenPhone you will need to populate the API Key and Phone Number fields in your Indie Settings and enable call recording & transcription. Please follow the steps below to do so.

1A. Generate an API Key
To create an API Key, login to your OpenPhone account and click Settings > API > “Generate API Key”. You will be asked to name the key but this is purely for your tracking; we suggest “Indie_Mortgage”.
Copy this number to your clipboard and paste it into the API Key field in your settings.

1B. Locate Your Phone Number
To complete the connect you will also need your OpenPhone phone number. You can find your number on the left side navigation of your account under the heading “Inboxes”. If you have multiple lines select the number that you wish to sync with Indie. Type or paste your phone number into the phone number field in your settings.
1C. Validate & Save with Indie
After you have entered both your API Key and Phone Number into Indie’s settings, click “Validate & Save” and we will establish a secure connection. You should receive a notification popup that the service has been connected. If you receive an error please double check your phone & key and try again or contact us.
